Josephine's & Universal Nail Training academy was established in 2002. It is directed by Josephine De Nardo (Jo-Jo). Josephine has been involved in the nail and beauty industry since 1998. Before opening her salon and training academy, she worked as a beauty therapist and nail technician for Steiner where she travelled the world working in five star cruise ship spas developing experience and skills.

In 2003 Josephine achieved her Educators and Master Artist Educator training certificate, she has continued to develop her own nail and beauty skills by regularly attending advanced training programs, so she can be sure she is passing on the most up to date and advanced training available in the industry.

Josephine is very well known in the competition circuit and has been highly placed in many nail competitions over the years including Scottish Nail Technician of the Year, National Nail Technician of the Year as well as European Nailympics.

Josephine works in partnership with Entity (the worlds leading nail couture products). Together they thrive on helping nail technicians reach the peak of their career as well as introducing new nail technicians to the industry and getting them started along the road to success.

The salon remains on top with cutting edge treatments, with the most elite products including Bare Minerals, Entity Couture, Nova Lash to name but a few.
