What's Involved

Times will be arranged when booking your training. Courses may be modified to suit your individual needs. Most courses are done in group sessions usually two students per day however private tuition can be arranged on request, for this prices may vary. Special arrangements may be made if it is more convenient for you to have training at your own salon.

Most courses are available to everyone regardless of your experience. On a conversion course you may be recommended to change on to a level 1 course if your knowledge or technique is not to the level required.  Minimum deposit of £100 non refundable is required when booking your course.

All courses passed will provide you with a certificate of recognition as a fully qualified nail technician in whatever area you choose to learn.

Regardless if you attend the full course you may still fail if you do not fully understand the practical and theory side, you may re-sit for free as many times as it takes.

For your training you will need to bring your own choice of product and tools with you. It can be arranged for a kit to be supplied for you.

When you book you can request a product list to be sent to you to detail exactly what you need.

A model will be required for all of your training, choose someone who has nice nails to work on and patience. They may be asked to sit around waiting a lot at first and must remember that you are our main priority. Do not wear false nails to your training of any description; all mobile phone must be switched off during teaching.

During training you are provided with notes and worksheets which we will use throughout but you must continue to read these in your own time, this helps free up the class for more practical work.

The aim of  training is to enable you to perform a good enhancement procedure; some learn and pick up information quicker than others this is taken into consideration. We will adjust the course to suit each student level, leaving you feeling confident as a technician. We will never push you further than you are able to go.

We will cover safe practices health and hygiene nail application maintenance techniques and much more, demonstrations of nails will be performed step by step. Your 1st nail is to be applied without supervision. This enables us to gauge your skill level and ability to take in information. It will also help pinpoint specific areas you have to work on.
